But we still do have a small bit of hope that she will return to her glory in the coming year with Drona and Love Story 2050. Especially considering that she performed very well in a lot of those movies in 2006 (which is now remembered as the “Year of the Himesh”, just kidding! ).

Some of the top names like Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, John Abraham, Preity Zinta, Amrita Rao, Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu couldn’t make it to the list. मलेशिया में बेगाने हुये भारतीय

सिविल सेवा में भरती मामले को लेकर मलेशिया मे जो विवाद उठा उसने एक बार फिर अंग्रजी राज्य की यादे ताजा कर दीं ।
जब सिविल सेवा को लेकर जातीय और नस्लीय भेद किये जाते थे । प्रघानमंत्री अब्दुल्लाबहावी ने जो सफाई दी है वह इतने देर से आयी कि तब तक पानी सर के उपर निकल चुका था ग्लोबलाइजेशन के इस दौर में नस्ल और जाति की बात करना कितना सस्ता लगता है । भारत हमेशा से ही मलेशिया का पक्ष लेता रहा है ,ऐसे मे मलेशिया सरकार के इस कदम पर आप क्या सोंचते है ?

नंदीग्राम की घंटना

हमें अपने देश की शासन व्यवस्था पर विचार करने का सरकार हमे मौका देती है।सरकार हमे हर धटना सोचने के लिए मजबूर कर देती है। आज कल राजनीतिक पाटि्यो को लोगो से ज्यादा कुर्सी की चितां लगी रहती है। यदि लोकतत्रं मे कोई भी सरकार 20
वर्ष से अधिक रह जायेगी तो निश्चय रूप से वह बेपरवाह हो जायेगी। जबकि बंगाल के माकपा सरकार 30 वर्ष से सत्ता मे है। हमारे विचार के अनुसार आज कल कोई भी नेता राजनीति करनेनही आता है, ब्लकि वह अपने आप को पैसा कमाने और मान समान की चिन्ता मे लगे रहते है। राजनीति करने के लिए वाहुबल का जोर चाहिए। जिससे चुनाव जीतने के लिए अपराघी उतारे जाते है। लोकतत्रं मे राजनीतिक घारा तभी कायम रह सकती है,जब उस पर चर्चा हो और गलतियां दूर करने का प्रयास किया जाए,लेकिन बंगाल की स्थिती दूसरा ही है। यह देख कर मै दुखी हूं। जब सरकार अपराघियो और हिंसा का सहारा लेगा तो लोकतत्रं मे यही घटना देखने को मिलेगा।

मीडिया पर अंकुश क्यों ?

इन दिनों हर एक पूरी दुनिया में देश को असहयोग आंदोलन का रास्ता दिखाने वाले महात्मा गांधी की पूछ बढ़ रही हैं,वहीं भारत की अदालतें हर तरह की हड़ताल और बंद जैसे लोकतांत्रिक उपायों को अवैध करार दे रही हैं।
तभी तो मिड-डे अखबार द्वारा सुप्रीम कोर्ट पूर्व न्यायधीश सभरवाल के पुत्र के गलत कामों को प्रमाण सहित उजागर करने पर दिल्ली हाइकोर्ट ने उसे अदालत की अवमानना मान कर पत्रकारों को सजा सुना दी। इस मुद्दे पर पत्रकार जगत की चुप्पी शर्मनाक हैं। मैं मानता हुं कि मिड-डे के सपांदक एवम पत्रकारों ने कोई गलती नही की हैं। पर उनकी बिरादरी वाले उनका साथ नहीं दे रहे हैं ! मगर मेरी समझ से जनता न्याय व्यवस्था के अंदर व्याप्त भ्रष्टाचार के उजागर होने से खुश हैं। अवमानना की आड़ में मीडिया पर अंकुश लगाने की हर कोशिश का विरोध होना चाहिए.मिडिया इस मुद्दे पर आगे बढ़े,तो न्याय के अभाव में त्रस्त जनता अवश्य साथ देगी.

पुलिस बर्बरता पर अंकुश लगे..?

पुलिस का तात्पर्य है-पुरुषार्थ,लिप्सारहित और स्वार्थहीन.मगर समाज में हर क्षेत्र में जब गिरावट आ गई हैं,तो पुलिस से स्वार्थहीन होने की उम्मीद रखना न्यायसंगत नहीं होगा.परंतु हाल ही में भागलपुर पुलिस की बर्बरता किसी भी संवेदनशील व्यक्ति का दिल दहलाने के लिए काफी है.गत दिनों किसी महिला के गले से सोने की चेन चुरा कर भागते हुए एक युवक को पहले तो जनता ने बुरी तरह पीटा.फिर पुलिसकर्मी भी शामिल हो गये.खबरिया चैनलों में उस लहूलुहान व्यक्ति को दो पुलिसकर्मियों द्वारा मोटरसाइकिल में बांध कर घसीटे जाते हुए दिखाया गया.आमतौर पर ऐसी खबरों के समय कई लोग चैनल बदल देते हैं,ये कहा तक सही हैं।

THE HSBC PROJECT … IS IT WORTH RS 160 CRORE ?

For a city that has over 51 lakh vehicles, an addition of about 1,000 vehicles daily can hardly be good news. No matter how much noise the government makes about limiting the number of cars nothing can be achieved.
Even a Supreme Court directive to the state government in July 1999 to increase the bus fleet to 10,000 by 2001 failed to have any effect.
According to Delhi Master Plan 2021, “the period between 1981 and 2001 has been a phenomenal increase in the growth of vehicles and traffic in Delhi. There has been a rise in the percapita trip rate from 0.72 in 1981 to 0.87 in 2001.The population of motor vehicles has increased from 5.13 lakh in 1981 to 32.38 lakh in 2001.It is estimated that the total population will increase to 280 lakh by 2021.

The construction of the high capacity bus corridor between Ambedkar Nagar and Delhi Gate has got commuters fuming. With one third of the available road space being reserved for buses which comprises just 2% of the traffic share, the traffic police fear the corridor will be a nightmare for all road users. While the man behind the project who is facing public ire, claim it would lead to a decrease in the flow of private cars. All that has happened is that the traffic is now crawling leading to more fuel consumption because of idling and the promised gains of segregating buses from the rest of the traffic are hardly visible.
The Press Enclave Marg of South Delhi presents a sad picture of chaos and neglect. A Rs80 lakh project undertaken by PWD which seeks to rebuild the central divider on the road is the biggest contributors to the chaos. While the work, delegated to private contractors has been going on for over a month.
The road space has meanwhile shrunk with debris piled up on both sides of the old divider that has been broken down. The iron girders are sticking out dangerously and the debris has been left lying around while the smaller, plastic bollards are broken, forcing cars to weave around them. This poses to the traffic, particularly at night not to speak of the pedestrians who are as usual risking their lives. The situation is worst during the rush hours when office goers driving past add to the congestion and traffic literally crawls.

VK Agarwal the managing director of RITES made a conference on the High Capacity Bus System that the Rs160crore project has been started without a detailed project report which is mandatory for a big project.
It has been decided that the two ways high capacity bus corridor will be 8metres wide and 4metres either way. Compared with that the two-way lanes on either side for cars, two wheelers, LCVS and the rest will be just 6.6metres wide 3.3metres on either side, sufficient for 2 vehicles abreast at a tight squeeze. But this will lead to more traffic; moreover the bus corridor in the middle will mean bus stops in the middle of the road.
Now should the government still go ahead with the project of Rs160crore??

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग से क्या प्रलय का खतरा नहीं ???

वक्त रहते अगर हम नहीं जागे तो कुछ ही साल के अन्दर समुद्र के स्तर में खतरनाक बढ़होतरी हो जाएगी और प्रलय जैसे हालात बन जऐंगे । ग्लोबल वार्मिंग पर यह आख़री चेतावनी है नोबेल प्राइज़ से सम्मानित युनाइटेड नेशंस के इंटर गवर्नमेंटल पैनल ऑन क्लाइमेट चेंज का । अपनी चौथी रिपोर्ट में मौसम के बदलाव से कई ख़तरों के बारे में दुनिया भर के मुल्क़ों को सावधान किया है। दुनिया के बढ़ते हुए उर्जा के इस्तेमाल को देखते हुए इंटरनैशनल एनर्जी एजेंसी ने कहा था की अगर स्थिती ऐसी ही रही तो 2030 तक तापमान 6 डिग्री बढ़ जाएगी और प्रलय जैसी हालत हो जाएगी । इस भयानक खतरे से ग्लोबल स्तर पर तुरंत क़दम उठा कर ही बचा जा सकता है।

परामाणु समझौता सही।

शनिवार को दिल्ली में हुए कांग्रेस अधिवेशन में पार्टी ने परमाणु समझौते पर डटे रहने का जो इरादा जताया उससे मैं सहमत हूँ।प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने भाषण हिंदी मे दिये ,जो हमेशा अंग्रेजी मे होता है। उन्होने अपने भाषण में भारत को एक विशाल परम्पराओं वाला देश कहा, और कहा कि इसे कोई भी हानि नहीं पहुँचा सकता।देश कि उर्जा की मांग बढ़ रही है। कब तक हम कोयले और नदियों से इसकी पूर्ति करेगें। भारत से गरीबी हटाने के लिए हमें ऊर्जा के नए संसाधन जुटाने होगें।
जो मुझे सही लगा । भारत को एटमी डील करनी चाहिए।

मार्क्सवाद पर लगा प्रश्नचिन्ह

सिद्धांत के स्तर पर मार्क्सवाद एक महान विचारधारा है, लेकिन इस विचारधारा पर चलने वाली भारतीय राजनीतिक पार्टियों ने इसकी महानता पर प्रश्नचिन्ह लगा दिया है। एक साल पहले अरुंधती रॉय की एक पुस्तक आयी थी, "द अलजेब्रा आफ़ इनइफ़ाइनाइट जस्टिस”। भारत सरकार ने उन्हें इसके लिये साहित्य अक़ादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मांनित किया । अरुंधती ने यू.पी.ए. सरकार को अमेरिकी परस्त कहते हुए पुरस्कार वापस कर दिया। अरुंघती रॉय का यह फैसला मुझे अच्छा भी लगा और बुरा भी। अच्छा इसलिए क्योंकि अरुंधती ने विचारधारा से कोई समझौता नहीं किया। बुरा इसलिये क्योंकि यह सम्मान किसी विचारधारा को नही बल्कि ,उनकी कला को दिया गया था । एक बार फ़िर वही स्थिति सामने आयी,जब वामदलों ने परमाणु क़रार मुद्दे पर यू. पी. ए. सरकार का विरोध किया ।अच्छा यह लगा कि वामपंथी अपनी विचारधारा पर चल रहे हैं। साथ ही साथ इसी बहाने जनता को इस समझौते की गहराई से जानकारी हुई। चीन के साथ हुए समझौते जैसे कुछ मुद्दों को छोड़ दें तो उन्हे जनता का साथ भी मिला ।दल की स्थिति उस समय और मज़बूत हुई जब सरकार बचाने के लिये कॉग्रेस ने परमाणु समझौते से मना कर दिया । पर अब सिंगूर और नंदीग्राम मुद्दे ने स्थिति बदल दी है।सी. पी आई. ने नंदीग्राम में किसानों के हितों के साथ-साथ मार्क्सवाद का भी गला घोंट दिया । अब परमाणु मुद्दे पर पर अपना समर्थन देकर मार्क्सवादियों ने ढेर सारे प्रश्न छोड़ दिये हैं। क्या यह फ़ैसला नंदीग्राम मुद्दे पर ख़ुद का बचाव है, या मार्क्सवाद का बदलता स्वरूप ?
